The New Zealand Academy of Fine Arts is a self-funding incorporated society working in support the visual arts.

Based in Wellington since 1882, NZAFA has occupied a unique position for the arts in New Zealand.

The aim is to benefit the community of New Zealand through promotion, creation, understanding and enjoyment of the visual arts, including the holding of regular exhibitions featuring new work from established and emerging artists.
